Our Design and Build Approach
The Traditional Approach
Client, Architect, Contractor
Client engages with an architect who puts together a design for their project (which is usually only ever in the architect’s design style), they submit to planning and then do nothing until planning approval is received.
At this point, they’ll then draw up a tender list to send to their favoured contractors who will all submit a tender for review by the client. Once the client has then made a decision on the contractor, they’ll then have to wait for the contractors next available window for the work. Once the work has started the project is then fraught with disconnected communication with various subcontractors and a total lack of cohesion.
This whole approach often leaves the client feeling disconnected, confused and at times very out of touch with their own home.
- Confusion
- Lack of communication
- Multiple contracts
- Multiple points of contact
- Lack of responsibility
- Conflicting approaches
- Fractious
Our Approach
The T&W Projects Difference
From the start we aim that the client engages with T & W Projects Ltd partners, we assign a dedicated project team who will be with you from initial enquiry through to handover.
From the design stages we’ll put together a design which suits you, the design process is collaborative and we create a design pack which truly reflects your style, your preferences and the way you live your life.
We manage the planning application process with the council and during this time we begin the costing and budgeting exercises. Because we are a true architectural design and build company, as soon as planning permission is approved, we’re ready to start on-site.
The build process is completely managed from start to finish with regular and open conversations around progress, budgeting and design decisions.
The T & W Projects Ltd difference aims to create an enjoyable process for you, the client, and a finished product that you, and us, will be proud of.
